Solutions Overview
Governments are active in the oversight of energy production, natural resources management and environmental protection. Agencies must effectively regulate the procurement and availability of resources. Environmental protection includes monitoring the environment and weather, assuring proper environmental standards and their compliance, and addressing environmental hazards and contamination. Government roles in natural recreational resource management include conservation planning, land management and national heritage protection. Managing these numerous and complex processes requires information sharing and collaboration among multiple parties, including government agencies, energy companies, environmental groups, national heritage groups, land owners and the general public.
