Open Text Collections Server & Library Management Learning Offerings

Open Text offers an array of education programs for Open Text – Collections Server and Library Management products that includes courses, eLearning and workshops.

Open Text Collections Server (formerly BASIS) is designed for specialized archival and information center solutions, excels at managing hybrid document collections consisting of both documents and their associated metadata and increases their value with high-performance search and retrieval.

Open Text Library Management (formerly Techlib) is a fully Web-based, integrated application for managing library resources-including traditional and digital collections-and automating daily library operations.

We offer courses for end users, database administrators, system administrators and developers.

Content World 2010

On Tuesday, November 9 Open Text is hosting a Library and Collection Management User Group Meeting from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

Hosted as part of Content World 2010, the Library and Collection Management User Group Meeting is a free, one-half day event where you can meet directly with product leaders from the Libraries and Collections team.

The interactive agenda gives you the opportunity to:

• Hear a full update on development strategy and release roadmaps for both the Open Text Collections Server and Library Management (BASIS and Techlib) products.

• Discuss product direction with Open Text technical staff.

• Speak with other users to share your experiences, tips on implementation, and best practices.

• Watch demonstrations of the latest software and services including the enhanced features and sleek new user experience of the Webtop Suite.

• Participate in a round-table discussion – bring your requirements for future releases, your questions and stories to share.
